A588GrA is an American Standard weathering steel plate, and also a high-strength low alloy steel for atmospheric corrosion resistance in the implementation of ASTMA 588/A588M-05.Delivery state of A588GrA steel plate: hot rolled, tempered, normalized+tempered, tempered.

 

A588 GR.K corten steel plate is a high strength, low alloy structural steel with a minimum yield point of 345Mpa and a thickness of 100mm. When properly exposed to the atmosphere, A588 GR.K steel plate is suitable for a wide range of applications in its bare state.

ASTM A588 corten steel is a high-strength, low-alloy structural steel, divided into four grades: A588GrA, A588GrB, A588GrC, and A588GrK. The A588 corten structural steel is used in welded, riveted, and bolted structures, but is primarily used in welded bridges and buildings where weight reduction or extended life is required. Significantly better than carbon structural steels with or without copper, when fully exposed to the atmosphere, this A588 weathering steel is suitable for many applications in the bare state, limiting material thickness to no more than 200mm.
